Teeling's single malt contains whiskies aged for up to 23 years, which have been matured in a range of wine casks: sherry, port, Madeira, white Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon.
n: kinda nondescript nose. Mainly waxed vanilla and honeycomb. Bit of wood spice and cinnamon bread dough. Nice but subtle.
t: follows nose but with a cherry jam note that's strong in the beginning (raspberry pop-tart). Baked green apples and cloves in sweet middle. Vanilla sugar icing in the nice, creamy malt finish. Very smooth, pleasant and flavourful for an Irish. Nothing too complex, but still tasty.
