Nose oozes with Vanilla (like an absurd amount). Nice oak and baking spices too. Nose is stronger than I was expecting. On the palate the vanilla is there, but a swift spice cut comes through. Nice bite. Honestly this is like a Canadian whisky on a little bit of steroids. Mouthfeel is luscious. Some caramel. Nice long draw and overall great balance between sweet and rough. A lot probably wouldn't score this as high, but I really enjoy it. Utterly drinkable and easily one of the best Canadian's I've had. [2/12/15]
