The nose has peat, leather notes and just a touch of fruit in the background. The palate is a bold, rich, peat with sweetness running through it reminiscent of good BBQ that's both sweet and smoky, then coastal, oily, lots going on. The finish is where you finally pick up some sherry notes which intermingle with the peat but it's pure ash on the nose.
