A nice peaty nose. Really sweet on the palate with gobs of peat and sherry-like notes. It dries out a bit in the finish which is equal parts peat and wine with strong peat on the nose. Tasting blind, I assumed this was a sherry cask, and it has lots of similar characteristics, though it seems a bit sweeter and without any sulfur, but also without some of the depth you get from heavily sherried whisky.
