The nose is subtle and malty with some dried apricot notes. The palate starts with fruit, a light sherry note and a syrupy mouthfeel. Mid-palate it develops some coastal, sea water notes, with a hint of peat, which balances well with the fruit. The finish is salty on the palate and fruity on the nose.
This is really well done and fun to drink. As usual, I wish it were higher proof but it packs a lot of complexity into 46%.
