N: Sweet nectar, marshmallow candy, solvent, hint of sulfur P: Rich and spicy, unique organic sweetness, like honeycomb or fruit extract... F: Medium length. An interesting single cask HP, but many better ones in this price range.
Sherry nose. Taste has a sharp bite (too much so almost), and the finish is short lived. Metallic taste overall. Discovered more complexity with the right amount of water. Much better whiskey than I initially thought after the first glass.
Darker and much more stout than many HPs I have had. Loads of perfumes and floral notes on lilacs, heather and hay. Dark chocolate bitterness and blackcurrants along with some real cereal/bready goodness. I liked this alot and the finish was much longer than usual with these single cask HPs.
