n: rather light and non-descript. Clover, honeycomb, toffee, and maybe a whif of dry wood smoke.
t: light paper ash smoke, but very light, smooth and safe. Creamy malt, and cereal. Too easy to drink but the character is blended out to a safe zone. Would be a perfect whiskey for an introduction to scotch for someone fancy, but I like things that are more memorable.
This has a nice nose with malt, sea air, green grapes and some floral notes. The palate is malty with some musty notes, like drinking in a damp cellar. The finish is dry with notes of autumn leaves. This is decent stuff.
