Plenty of peat and good Islay notes on the nose. There is a nice peaty char on the first taste but it's heavily diluted as if it were buried under water. It ends with the flavor of old, wet cigarettes. Probably a Caol Ila, though it has some Lagavulin like characteristics as well.
Lots of oily nasty peat on the nose. The malt on this just smells off to me. Gets a bit better on the palate with the peatiness being a bit more clear and leaving a salty finish. I've tried this several times but it always something I dump. I gave my one and only bottle away 90% full 2 years ago. I am reminded why everytime I try it. But I think this will be the last time. Anyone want the rest?
