Nose has earthy tar and minerality, a little new make. Palate is quite nice and tasty, with some peaty aspects, a nice kick of wood-ish spice, vanilla-apple in the background. A little new make again in the moderately long finish. Good whiskey worth trying.
n: roasted candied almonds, light orange citrus and floral notes of heather. Beer nuts and caramel, a little sweet smelling (young) and rich malt.
t: sea salted caramels with a flower leaf pressed on the top. Creamy, dense, and buttery. Flavours are deep and come together well. Finish is of soft sea salt and dry leather. Quite cohesive and delicious.
