Coconut nose, grassy, slight hint of Expo marker (in a nice way).
Great flavors in the palate, if narrower as expected from a grain. Moderately-sweet, tasty stuff that hits the spot with oaky-vanilla and a little pineapple-citrus, sort of a pina-colada hint that continues through the silky finish.
This shows what a nicely aged grain can do, and any experienced malt fan will probably take a liking to this. In today's market, this is something I'd really recommend... K&L blew these out at $136 a few months ago, and that would've been a must-purchase opportunity. But still, under 200 bucks is decent value.
