Not a joke. Bought at a restaurant supply store in Pasadena, CA. "Charcoal Filtered Oak Barrel Reserve" assumed a copy/paste error from the Bar Code American Whisky. Scotch type not stated. Assumed a blend per taste.
Faintly sweet nose with chemical solutions. Palate is fairly neutral but has some yeasty/fresh dough stuff going on, with no finish. It tastes like burning.
