n: seashore, driftwood, and nori. Burnt matchsticks and grey seasalt dissolving in light soy sauce.
t: briney with sea salt, damp smoke, and charred leather. Middle is all peat smoke and char, heavy on the smoke and sea salt with a sour fruity/orange note. The sherry is very subdued under the damp earthy peat. Long dry salty finish with more of the peat char until the very end. A deep martime smoke bomb.
Dark dense smokey tar and rubber. A bit boggy with damp decaying wood. Reduced red wine and tons of burnt toasted bread and bbq notes. Lingering sherry in the background. Heavy charred peat initially on the palate. Viscous syrupy mouthfeel with more smoke and cherry menthol. This thing just reminds me of nyquil. Sticky mouth coating finish of menthol and oak. B/B+
