Nose: Burnt sugar and oak
Palate: Thick and minerally with wood spice
Finish: Some sweetness blended in with the minerals and wood.

Very much a Dickel with some additional oak.

Bronze amber. Slightly stronger nose than the 9y TPS, but also not getting as much complexity. Stiffer and more noticeable oak and still some corn. The palate packs a bigger punch with more oak and a proper amount of bitterness. Loved the finish. I reach for this one a little bit more, so I am giving it the nod over the 9yr TPS. [10/27/13]
