Light gold color. Initially strong alcohol vapors that give way to hints of brown sugar and vanilla. The palate is a little funky, with lots of oak/ bitter wood and a collection of spices. Opens up over time with some air and losses the bitter quality (which is what really knocked this one down for me). I tasted Lot 250. B-/B [3/13/2013]
