Nose: Very grainy on the nose with malt and wheat, then tobacco, burnt wood and spice.
Palate: Very rich with malty flavors, spice, then floral notes, some lemon rind, salty coastal notes
Finish: Peppery, salty and a bit floral.
Probably the most complex Irish whiskey I've had with all kinds of diverse notes packed in there. Easily the best thing I've had under the Jameson label.
