Fully smoky flavor with bits of fruity and slight spice.  Semi-dry.  The alcohol is a bit too prominent in the finish, but not enough to ruin it.  An engaging scotch, except for that alcohol over-presence, it's odd and hot for 40% which nearly pushed it into C+.

Very dry, floral, and peaty.   Finish burns quite a lot for 40%.
