N: Holy crap, great nose.  Rich in sherry goodness with an armangac sweetness.  Lots of dark fruits; berries, strawberry, raisins, and prunes.  Black coffee and tea give this added depth.

P: Starts with fruits (berries and cherries) with some bready notes.  Then it goes down hill showing dirty stale notes.  Somethings wrong with the sherry on the palate, its yeasty and metallic.

F: Hints of smoke and suprisingly the finish does not stick around.

This was very disappointing.  The nose was phenomenal and had lots of goodness.  Palate was a major let down. So so wrong.

n: briney smoke, ume plums, and wooden match just snuffed out (a bit sulphury). Smell of dark fruits boiling to make mincemeat pie. Oolong tea with cream, black raisins and blackberries.

t: driftwood smoke and salt brine with some strawberry preserves. Black peppercorn, canned prunes, and raw biscuit dough in a hot middle. Oily, this leaves a waxy layer on the tongue in the finish. Mostly a briney smoke throughout, but the fruit fades quickly and turns a bit vinegary. Surprisingly there was a whole lot more going on in the nose than the taste.  [B/B-, unique]

n:  Exellently sherried.  Sweet and a hint of cedar

p:  Plastic and lemons.  Faint peat.
