A wonderfully sweet fruit bomb nose. Fresh fruits drizzled with carmalized honey and light woody notes. Reminded me of the 1972 DT Caperdonich. The fruits carry through on the palate with more melon and some wax. Just right amount of sweetness that keeps you coming back for more, making this very dangerous. This is tasty!
I agree with Fuji's assessment, the style is much more Caperdonich than Glen Grant. Many years in a refill cask have given this lots of character, with plenty of sweet soft fruits and some tea notes. Very good.
