N: A fair amount of wood upfront, smells a little waterlogged. Some pepper in the background. Granny Smith apples after a minute. Waxy with a little toffee.
P: Woody again to lead, a little white pepper. A bit of sherry. Big and rich, a fair amount of fruit.
F: Surprisingly light. White pepper, a little wood, a little sherry. Apple skins late.
This has more oak than I've ever tasted on a Glenrothes. Unfortunately it feels out of balanced and overoaked. Bolder in general but just not coming together for me.
