Palate: Lots of mint up front, some acid notes, caramel and toffee later in the palate, a few chewy wood notes mixed in there as well and some candy (I'm going to say grape tootsie pops).
Finish: light candy notes
I liked this one but wasn't bowled over by it, but I'm in the minority of those I've known who have tasted it, many of whom absolutely love it.
N: A little sharp on the nose. Some orange, light earthiness, clay and marshmallow; wood and a touch of black cherry. A little vegetal sourness.
P: Thin initially but then heat comes in and it's off to the races with tons of cinnamon. A little black cherry, a touch of orange and a little black tea. Some light wood but mostly heat.
F: Black tea leads, followed closely by black cherries and a little vanilla. The heat quickly recedes. As the finish dries it gets a little more sweet on the cherry but resolves to wood.
The heat is a bit surprising at first. Let this settle and it's pretty good, though pretty punchy.
