Nose of fruit, spice, some peat, and some distinct notes of rubbing alcohol. Palate is surprising, relatively complex layers of sugar, fruit, spice, and smoke. Finish is warm and enveloping, with smoke and bitter cocoa.
Nose? Tastes like 120 proof church wine with artifical smoke flavoring. The label reads "Connemara Cask Strength is a true connoissuers choice". My arse.
