Nose: Wood polish, old library. Palate: Sweet and spicy with some pine notes that are almost rye like. Acidic toward the end of the palate but then comes back sweet into a finish reminiscent of a Canadian or even an Irish.
This is fairly complex in its balance of sweet, spicy and acidic. It's got a lot going on.
N: Thin but spicy. A little pepper, a dash of cinnamon, a touch of star anise over some watery wood notes. Some cherry in the background.
P: Watery. A little heat creeps in after a second; not much flavor. Some wood, a little cinnamon, and it starts to get hot. Black cherry and that's about it.
F: Hot on the finish initially, a little black cherry and some pepper.
