Palate: A good start - syrupy, malty and fruity with some sweet, white wine notes. A bitterness starts at midpalate and gets stronger toward the end where it reaches bitter melon levels (well, not quite, but going in that direction).
Finish: Unfortunately, it's the bitterness that dominates the finish.
This has some of the barrel strength lowland character I like but it's not quite balanced with those bitter notes late palate and into the finish. C+/B-
