Nose:  Massive oak, water brings out sweet candy notes of vanilla and toffee.

Palate:  Massively woody bourbon with a chewy mouthfeel.  Wood polish, old library, etc.  Water brings it nicely into balance with sweet notes and pine.

Finish:  The late palate pine dominates the finish, which is lengthy and spicy.  One of the nicest finishes around.

This is a wood monster that needs a good bit of water to open it up, but with water it's very balanced.
