Notes: Lots of spicy, vegetal rye in the nose, sort of in the WhistlePig or like young LDI. Palate: Nice rye punch, but light enough not to be jarring, followed by sweetness. Finish: sweet and spicy.
A nice blend with a strong rye flavor. Easily the best Canadian blend I've had.
Golden amber color. Sweet nose with plent of vanilla, maple syrup and some spice -- specifically I am getting chipotle. I really like the nose, it is complex and interesting. The palate disapoints a little, but does have a good kick. A little bitter and lots of rye. The finish is good and covers the mouth while rolling into a good draw. B/B+ [8/17/13]
