Blind: Nose and palate match up nicely. Lots of wood shaving / sawdust notes along with toasted malt and a fair bit of saltiness. A sharp peppery finish to end things.
The nose has coastal notes and exhaust, like a drag race on the beach. The palate is sweet and peaty with a strong peaty finish that goes on forever with some perfume notes on the nose. This is a nice one, though the sweet notes are a bit stronger than I'd like. If it weren't for the strong finish, I'd probably give it a B- but the nice finish bumps it up to a B.
