Noses of grass, butterscotch and a good amount of candle wax with a sweet sherry background. The sherry on is nice as it wasn't too sweet. There's stewed apples and pears on the palate but with a bit of spiciness that gave it another dimension. The finish is a bit dry consisting of wax and hay.

Tastes of springbank. Nice resinous sherry with grass/ hay notes that was downright enjoyable. I've havent tasted the Springer 21 OB yet but this would make an interesting head to head. 

Head to Head Update: 

Springbank 21 vs Moidart 21.  You can definitely see the similarities between the two but the Springer 21 was much more balanced and had a sweet mentholated mintiness that is great.
