Nose is like a sherry glazed donut (theoretically), with something vaguely minty hiding in it.
Palate is, ooh, sweet and a little cinnamony-Juicyfruity-pecan pie, but then the finish hits and WOW. A nice contrast as it grows very herbal and... wow, it's still going... yeah, bright herbal and leafy stuff. As I drink more, fruiter stuff peeks in (orange zest) and toasted nuts (walnuts?). But the main flavors here are all the things that strike me as oak-extracted, and delicious.
An excellent malt with many delicious layers to dissect. (Thanks Bryan!)
