Great nose, sweet and sugary, with varnish, fresh vanilla bean, and lots of dried mango.
Palate is great and unexpected, a complex spice cabinet with musty earth. Tons of dried fruits which build into the finish, with cedar joining, finally showing that fresh vanilla again.
Sweet malt with yellow peaches/ apples, incense and light sherry notes. You can also smell the wood on this but it's more like fresh cut wood chips. Actually quite nice, reminds me of a construction site. This is very complex. Wow, the palate is a whopper. Loads of flavors here, ranging from nuttiness, fruity to herbal stuff. Damn! This is good. Finish is smoky (cigar) yet slightly sweet.
This is great stuff. Definitely one you can take your time with. Something new every time come back for a sip. Thanks Tim!
