Nose of dusty crackers, Band Aids, wisps of something vaguely smokey.
Palate... hmmmm... well it's kinda sweet and kinda soapy. Then dried lighter fruits like apricots, and... well now it's finishing and among other things there's some soapy stuff here that's just not doing it for me. And it's the longest-lingering part of the finish, which turns me off from wanting more. Drinkable but not desirable.
n: Vanilla wafers, burnt newspaper, wallpaper paste, and overripe peach.
t: Very perfumey and floral, then turns to air freshner that was sprayed in the air as you breathe in; quite different from the nose. I get some black pepper and a plastic note that lingers to the very end that I don't like. Lavender bathroom air freshner liquid.
I would never recognize this as a Macallan. Very sweet and youthful, makes me think this was a tired cask. [C-/D+]
