A three year old single barrle rye made at Lawrenceburg Distillers Indiana and bottled by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers. These are single barrels so the abv varies.
Nose: It's that young LDI nose...rye, pickle juice caraway. Palate: Mint bomb with lots of spice and pine. Finish: Slight bitterness.
It's 3 year old rye from LDI's 95% rye recipe and exactly what you'd expect...a bold, sock you in the face rye. It's not subtle or complex, but it's good stuff and the fact that they released it cask strength differentiates it from most of the other LDI rye out there.
