N: Grain, with some corn. Somewhat closed off. Slightly buttery, some maple syrup. Oak and faintest vanilla.
P: Thin but gaining weight, syrupy, somewhat earthy. Somewhat bland. Maple syrup, some hints of black cherry. Slightly buttery. Oak, black tea. Increasingly tannic.
F: Very quick. Black tea, some oak. Slightly bitter, warm and quite tannic. A slightly vegetal sourness.
The tannins are interesting but it's not enough to hold this together. It's bland on the palate but pleasant enough on the nose.
