Nose: Lots of rye spice, mint, pepper and some briny notes. Palate: Good mixture of sweet and rye notes with a certain lightness to it. Finish: Rye spice and mint.
N: Initially dusty. Grain on the nose with some oak and pepper as well. A solvent note on the nose as well. Some corn, some faint vegetal notes. Quite sharp. Very dry.
P: Moderately thick in the mouth. Light cinnamon, pepper, wood, toffee, caramel, vanilla. Some fruits hanging out in the background. Sweet.
F: Vanilla, black cherries and a hint of plum, appls, some light oak. drying. Kind of a weighty finish. Grains hang out the longest at the end.
The nose really has nothing to do with the palate. Quite strange. Interesting but not great palate, somewhat muted; decent enough finish.
