What a great nose! Something like toasted pine near a swimming pool not too far from a marina. With a BLT nearby.

 

Palate is sweet and absolutely delicious, massively drinkable. It's all about powdered donuts and tasty wood smoke with citrusy edges. White toast. Really silky mouthfeel. Very long finish, getting ashy and more dry.

 

This is one of those whiskies that's peaty yet still elegant. Outstanding.  A/A-
