N: Magnificent. Cherries in an old wet barn.

p: Sherried but not sweet. A big splash of cherry cough syrup (in a good way) with a tangy pepper. The finish is decent but is mostly pepperyness. Good job, Ichiro.

Great stuff. A sherry bomb of sherry bombs without a great deal of dimension, but if you're in the mood for this sort of thing then who cares. Light mulling spices in the background, cinnamon. Oak is not that present, particularly given the age (yeah it's Japanese, but still...) and ideally I might ask for a little more to balance out the sherry. Dessert whisky for certain. B+/A-

Fuji

AHHH,sweet nectar. Raisin jam, prunes, coal, incese with bits of ciruz zest and floral qualities. A good amount of sherry and a hint of smoke in this one.
