A familiar Islay nose with white wine. Sweet pleasing smoke, just a classic smoke flavor. Until the finish, which is above average -- and that finish is like pure camp-out campfire smoke. And long. A sweet and easy whisky. B
Retaste: Kind of a one-dimensional, almost-highly-peated whisky. Good mild sweetness. B-
Astringent alcohol on the nose with a bit of pear. Smoke is coming. A slight mouthful, not much character, and then a heavy medicinal finish. But not bad!
