Deep, chocolatey, sherried nose, with cream -- shades of a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. Rich, raisiny, and massively inviting. WARNING: Sherryheads only beyond this point!

Palate is not nearly as complex as the nose suggested, but still really hits the spot. So chooclatey and dried-dark-fruity. Mildly sweet. A sherry bomb to be certain. Seems to be no sulfur at all in here. Finish is gripping but not overly so, and the chocolate shows the most here, very lingering (chocolate truffles, milk chocolate, dark chocolate). I really love this.

A fantastic malt that's the perfect fix for a sherry-bomb craving. The lack of complexity is made up for by pure deliciousness in the limited things it does. I've tried this on many nights now, in comparison against other sherry monsters, and every time I come back to this one I just nod my head, eyes closing, with a "Yep!" Greater complexity would earn an easy A, but it's an easy A- otherwise.

(Big thanks to Steffen / @Macdeffe for not only sharing this, but for parting with an extremely large sample which continues to last me a deliciously long time).

N: A heavy rich sherried nose, fig newtons, tree sap, cherries, and then some mint.  Very complicated, er complex.
P:  This is all chocolate on the palate, which some coffee or perhaps butter chocolate emerging.  Super sherry bomb.F: Very coating, stays on chocolate covered cherries for a long time. Perhaps a wisp of sulfur to give it some mystery at the end.
