N: Crisp and honeyed, nutty, some floral and waxy notes as you dive in deeper. P: Generally round and fruity, balanced by some nice wood spice, perfect sweetness. F: Wood spice powers through the finish. This is really good.
Nose is slightly acrid, then floral, with sweet berry-fruity stuff. Vanilla, caramel corn in the background.
Yummy palate! Not the berries that the nose suggested. A somewhat spiced number. Oh -- the label says mango? Yeah, that's a really good descriptor for the sweet aspect, which is noticeable but not strong. Oak shows itself most in the finish where things get chewy, but I really like what's happening here.
Seems like a good sipper for a quiet night by the fireplace. If we ever lit such things in Los Angeles. B+/A-
