N: Buttery, coconut, golden yellow something (I hate it when I write stupid notes like that). P: Nice dry attack, floral. F: Continues through the long finish. Highland Park is one of those malts (like Lagavulin) where I find that their flagship OB releases, which are vattings of bourbon and sherry cask malt, are better than the single cask bottlings. This is a fine malt, but doesn't quite measure up to the 18 year.
