Chris

N: Paint thinner, a bit floral rye. Pretty weak nose.
P: The palate is also rather weak initially, but slowly the rye flavor builds up and up into the finish.
F: Dry and woody.
Nothing wrong here, its just too thin. And nose kinda blows (no pun intended).

Fuji

N: Rye spices, nice fresh oak, raspberries and some dark fruits

P: Oily texture with lots of spices followed by anise and good woody notes

F: Not much of a finish, but there is a light honey sweetness to it.

This is not from the same bottle Chris is reviewing so there could be some variation. My bottle is from 1979. B/B-
