I think we have a new category-maker here, let's call it the delicious sulfur-bomb. Gunpowder on the nose and a sort of tangy sulfury spice on the palate. One might call this seriously flawed because of the sulfur content, but I find myself craving the taste. I can see why they bottled this one, it's surely a very unique Benrinnes.
Nose: Rubbery and bit smoky Palate: Initially some sweetness and then some rubber and a whole load of smoke, not peat, smoke and a charred taste with sulphur. The finish is at once salty, smoky and bitter. It stays with you, and not in a good way.
The nose is interesting, the palate is weird, the finish is downright objectionable. Overall, this is pretty unpleasant.
