Oily, petroleum nose, with pungent sherry. Palate is mainly big sherry notes, with that oily/petroleum thing in a good way. Orange peel. Good, solid, and drinkable, with a medium-to-sweet sweetness. The sherry does approach somewhat cloying and effort-y, but only somewhat... not enough to tarnish the experience. I like it quite a bit. A great pick for a fuller-flavored party whisky. B/B+
