A blend of Japanese malt and grain whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. Presented in the brand's trademark 24-faceted bottle representing the Japanese seasons. American White Oak malt whiskies create a solid base. Mizunara (Japanese oak) and sherry cask malt whiskies are the dressing. The smoky malt whiskies enact as subtle accents to create depth and further complexity. Grain whiskies from Suntory’s Chita distillery act as the “dashi,”or broth, to complete the personality of the malt whiskies and enhance their overall harmony.
n: grassy and sweet, light yuzu citrus, fresh linens. Powdered sugar, butterscotch hard candy, and mint.
t: initially is sharp alcohol, orange blossom, and white sugar sweetness. Thin body and more of the grassy sweetness in middle. In the finish is where it comes together better; you can taste the vanilla oak, some light paper smoke, and spiced apricot.
