The exact same liquid that has appeared in the collection over the past few years. This year’s release will be the last batch whiskey drawn from stainless steel tanks, and next year’s release will come directly from barrels filled in 1998.
n: soft and buttery, fresh cardboard, light and shy. Fresh dill, ginger, and caramel. Nose is inviting.
t: gentle on the palatte, buttered rye bread and fresh dill. Everything is cohesive and the flavors stay in a fairly straight line. Falls flat in the minty finish with a light mouthfeel.
