The nose is earthy with some sherry.  The palate is malty at the front, then has some sherry, but it's not an overpowering sherry note; also some acid. The finish is light with prunes.

Nicely put together.

Yum! Pretty sweet with lots of dried fruits -- raisins, figs, apples -- and toffee, chocolate, and small sprinkles of magic.

Tangy fruits and dry sherry mixed together to form a really nice drinking whisky. I don't usually attribute single malts to summer time drinks, but this made think this would be really nice on a hot evening watching the sunset.

Deep amber color. Nice fruity nose. Very clean and fresh. I thought this was a good sherried malt, but lacked the depth and richness I was looking and hoping for. Some off notes on the palate did this one in for me. [12/11/15]

Nice clean sherry fruit.  This a malt to start the night with.  It's not too hot and shows very well on a fresh palate.  The fresh fruit dulls after a few drinks.  A-/B+

Nice sherry with chocolate.  Biosenberry and red apples.
