N: Big peat and smoke, kelp, seaweed, phenols...
P: Surprisingly sugary, super peaty and medicinal, tastes like my grandfathers gargle! [Referred to as Giuseppe's Gargle, this concoction of water, iodine, phenol, and glycerin was forced upon me from a very early age.]
F:  Big and swarmy [That's what I wrote, no idea what it means]
The sweetness makes it tolerable, but just too young.

A phenolic nose, smoky and medicinal, earthy, with vague ocean notes.  Palate:  ATTACK OF THE PEAT SMOKE.  Really rich, with clove hints.  The attack continues at length in the finish.  This is too much for me -- personally, I can't drink much of it.  You really have to be in the mood for this.

Peaty but not in the standard Laphroaig way.  Dirty old tin pail.  Metal and ashes.  Vinegar finish
