The nose is light with malt and sort of a chemical note with some peat. The palate has peat, some candy sweetness and then turns acidic and somewhat harsh. The finish is fairly mild. Water is a must, bringing in some balance, taming the acid and adding vanilla and a slight marijuana note which lingers into the finish.
n: vanilla toffee, evergreen scented candle, with a cleaner (PineSol) note. Industrial malt with a lemon wax and sweet nose.
t: sweet peat and lemon rind. Weird mix of white sugar sweetness and green grass with a red candy middle. I get cinnamon, smoke, caramel, and spearmint all rolled into one whiskey here. Runs hot. This is a wierd; something that I usually would love, but it is too confusing and fragments on my palatte. [C/C-]
