n: nice dense honey and kettle corn, fried dill pickles, quite floral (like a nice potpourri), sun-dried cotton sheets. This is a very full and fragrant nose of wood char, dried cloves, and hint of evergreen deep in there. I sniffed this for a long while!
t: rye spice, dry cinnamon, and anise in the initial. But the taste is different, it doesn't have the sweetness I expected from the nose. Middle is walnuts, white pepper, and a faint bit of chewy caramel. Dry and surprisingly bitter in the finish with evergreen sap and toasted wood.
N: Popcorn butter, wet wood, clove, vanilla and pickle juice.
P: Sweet yet sour. The oak shows nicely and works well with waxy bitter notes that linger from mid palate to finish. Sweet finish with whiffs of distant smoke.
