n: Spearmint gum, prunes, and golden raisins with a bit of heather grass and citrus.
t: Over-ripe fruit with dark chocolate, cinnamon, and waxy honeycomb. Heavy port cask influence dominates the spirit with a lot of prune and a bit of a sour note midway. Finish has the mint from the nose (eucalyptus ?) and cloves. Very intense and flavourful, but not highly complex.
Would have been a B-, except for the unusual prune/mint character gives it a bump up for originality. [B-/B.]
