At 40%, considering the distillery pedigree and house style, this is pretty much what you'd expect if you've had any decently-aged Mortlachs. It hits the palate without fanfare or much dimension, but it's pretty tasty. Dried fruits, brown sugar flavors (but not sugary sweet), tea, whisper of sulfur, with heather in the finish. Ultra-drinkable and nicely flavored even at the low ABV.  B+/A-
